Charges for Access to Health Records under the Data Protection Act 1998 – Sept 2001

The Government announced today that the charges levied by the NHS for providing individuals with access to their health records would continue at current levels for the time being. This means that the maximum fee that can be levied is £10 for records held on computer and £50 for paper records or other media - RTF
