Locality Clinical Skills Coordinator – 1 session per week

The Peninsula Medical School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic doctor with an interest in medical education and skills learning to take on this key role in each locality. The post holder will be expected to act as the link between teaching and assessment in the clinical environment and that which takes place in the Clinical Skills Resource Centre. As a member of the Clinical Skills Steering Group and the Curriculum Matrix Group, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and design, with a particular remit to ensure the appropriateness and practicality of skills teaching in the clinical environment and the use of patients in skills teaching and assessment.
