Returning Support Your Surgery petitions to BMA - 3 Jun '08
Dear all
I have received a number of calls today from a number of GPs and LMCs that are uncertain of the procedure for returning Support Your Surgery petitions to the BMA.
Petitions do not need to be posted to arrive at BMA House by Friday 6th June.
Petitions should be posted back to the BMA on Friday 6th June. This way they will arrive at BMA House early next week, giving us time to count the petitions before presenting them at Downing Street, while still allowing practices as much time as possible to collect signatures.
A pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope was included with the campaign pack. However, I understand that a number of practices have mislaid this. In this case, practices should mail their petition to the following address:
Support Your Surgery Campaign
General Practitioners Committee
FREEPOST
British Medical Association
BMA House
Tavistock Square
London WC1H 9BR
Once again, many thanks for all of your help with the campaign. If I or my colleagues can be of any further help during the campaign's last few days, please don't hesistate to let us know.
Best wishes
Andy
